Coleen Nolan 'turned down Calendar Girls'

Coleen Nolan has revealed that she turned down an offer to star in the West End production of Calendar Girls.

The Loose Women panellist told The Mirror that she had too many commitments to take up the role.

Nolan said: "Well done to Kelly Brook for getting her Chelsea buns out live on stage in the performance of Calendar Girls.

"I loved the film and went to see the theatre production when my Loose Women mate Lynda Bellingham was in it. It was fab."

She added: "I was even offered a part in it myself, which I would have loved to have taken but couldn't because I've been so busy recently.

"But maybe it was for the best. I don't know if the show's production budget would stretch to the extra large fruit cakes which would be needed to preserve my (more than ample) modesty!"
