U2 to perform at Grammy Awards

Irish rock legends U2 are to perform at the Grammy Awards ceremony on February 13.

Organisers of the awards have announced that the band will be appearing along with Green Day, Tim McGraw and Alicia Keys at the Los Angeles event. They have received two nominations for their recent single Vertigo from their album How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb which topped the charts both sides of the Atlantic.

The show will be hosted by Queen Latifah and those presenting awards include Christine Milian and Ellen Degeneres.
