Will Ferrell 'wants to buy British pub'

Will Ferrell has revealed that he would like to buy a British pub.

The Land Of The Lost star admitted that he wants to purchase his own English bar near the West London home of his favourite football team Chelsea, reports STV.

The 42-year-old said: "All the Chelsea players would be welcome, but I wouldn't want a celebrity place, it would be an old-fashioned pub.

"I would be hands on. I could get some great material off all the regulars. I am sure there would be a film in it."

He also claimed that while some American breweries try their best to emulate British pubs, the UK is the place to truly experience them, adding: "Over-priced fish and chips does not constitute a real British pub."
