Cosby accused of 'inappropriate touching'

Bill Cosby has been accused of "inappropriate touching" by a female acquaintance.

Cosby's attorney Walter Phillips said he spoke to the Pennsylvanian authorities who are handling the investigation of the allegations which he describes as "utterly preposterous" and at worst amount to "inappropriate touching".

Phillips told the Associated Press: "I know the person making the accusation hasn't been contacted by authorities. We are hopeful and optimistic that no charges will be brought forward."

Cosby has postponed several upcoming shows but his publicist David Brakaw is noncomittal as to whether this is connected to the allegation.
