Brown: 'Attack details should be private'

Chris Brown has said that the details surrounding his dispute with Rihanna should "remain a private matter".

The singer, who earlier blamed rage for his attack on Rihanna, suggested that she should have kept quiet about their public fight.

The 20-year-old told MTV: "I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best."

This week, Rihanna opened up for the first time about the evening she was assaulted by Brown.
