Cusack: 'Parents gave me good advice'

In an interview with Parade, the 2012 star explained that he always felt supported by them.
"They said it's not important to make everybody like you," he said. "So I don't know how we became actors. But their mantra - they follow the Joseph Campbell thing - was 'follow your bliss'. It's worked out, to some degree, but they didn't try to push us in one direction.
"They just tried to expose us to a lot of stuff and support us, so they were great parents. I was very lucky."
