Alex Reid: 'Cross-dressing is a bit of fun'

Alex Reid has defended his cross-dressing, arguing that he just likes "pushing boundaries".

Recent reports have revealed that Reid, who is dating Katie Price, enjoys dressing up as his alter ego Roxanne.

"Look, it's a bit of fun," he told the Sunday Mirror. "Did I really want it all out in the open? No. But it's out there now and so what? It's like - I don't want to go to the supermarket dressed as a woman and I don't want a sex change.

"It's something I do once in a blue moon. To be honest, I've done it more in the last few months being with Katie than ever before."

However, Reid added that he has decided to stop dressing up as Roxanne.

"The clothes are going on the bonfire this weekend," he stated. "I'm not a pervert or a freak. I just push boundaries in everything I do."

He continued: "I just like to try everything. I'm open to everything. As long as you're not hurting anyone, it doesn't matter... I'm very open minded.

"I'm totally fine with my sexuality. And Katie loves it. I'm just a crazy kind of guy. I don't consider myself a drag queen - I just like dressing up as a woman. I also like to dress up as all sorts... Superman, Sinbad the Sailor, a ninja warrior, a Jedi knight. I've even got a light sabre in the bedroom."

Price reportedly argued with Reid at a Halloween party last week when he dressed up as Roxanne.
