Joss Stone: 'The stars inspire me'

Joss Stone has revealed that she loves stargazing because it helps her "be creative".

The soul singer, who lives in a country home in Devon, said that she loves the open space that her house gives her.

Stone told The Times: "I just like to be here. I like being in my own little world. I like the quiet and, oh my God, the stars. There's so much space to be creative here, and you can think easily."

Talking about her new album Colour Me Free, she continued: "They tried to tell me it wasn't possible, but I was, like, 'Just tell me what you need and let's see'."

Stone recently admitted that she offered to give her house to her record company in return for the LP's release.
