Adam Lambert 'hopes to become actor'

Adam Lambert has said that he would eventually like to cross over into acting.

The American Idol runner-up, who is yet to release his first album, revealed that he already has hopes of starring on the big screen.

"I hope acting's in my future, yeah," Angry Ape quotes him as saying. "It is something that I've done a lot over the past eight or ten years. If the opportunity came up and it was the right thing, I would love to be a part of a film.

"Right now, I am going to try to work on the album first. One thing at a time, right!"

Lambert releases his debut LP For Your Entertainment on November 23.
