Kellan Lutz has laughed off rumours that he is romancing his Twilight co-star Ashley Greene.
The actor, who plays Emmett Cullen in the vampire franchise, is known for sharing a close friendship with Greene, who portrays his on-screen sister Alice.
Speaking to E! Online's Marc Malkin, he said: "Every day I hear that Ashley and I are dating.
"It's like, why can't friends be friends with the opposite sex? Like, is it that bizarre?"
The star went on to claim that Eclipse, the third instalment in the supernatural saga, is a more "masculine movie".
"It's going to be one of those movies where guys who aren't fans of the Twilight series but like seeing a good kickass action movie are going to see it," he explained.
"And they're going to bring their girlfriends who are anti-Twilight because they don't want to be on that bandwagon. Then they're going to come and fall in love with it, too."
The cast and crew recently celebrated wrapping filming on Eclipse with a party in Vancouver.
