Stephanie Pratt: 'DUI arrest a blessing'

Stephanie Pratt has called her recent DUI arrest "the biggest blessing".

The Hills star was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she was stopped by police in the early hours of Sunday, October 18.

The reality show personality, who was bailed out for $5,000 (£3,300) and released later that day, said that she has learnt form the incident.

She told People: "It was the worst thing to happen to me and, at the same time, it was the biggest blessing. I learned to not fall apart, which is something that I usually do when something goes bad in my life. I learned that it is all about temptation and that I am being tested."

She added: "This is the first time that I haven't screwed up more after a bad thing and I didn't fall apart and say, 'I hate my life, I want to die!' It's the first time in 23 years that I went the other way!"

Pratt recently stated that she is thinking of leaving The Hills because the programme has become "very brutal".
