The 19-year-old hockey player, who rose to prominence as the father of Sarah Palin's grandson, stripped for the women's magazine earlier this week.
Speaking to Us Weekly, his manager Tank Jones said: "The shoot was fantastic! We're having a lot of fun with it.
"People are going to see more of Levi than they thought. There was a hockey stick involved."
Referring to the second photoshoot which takes place today, he said: "Part two is going to be fantastic. That's all I can say."
Jones added: "He's doing Playgirl because he wants to do Playgirl. A lot of famous people have done Playgirl."
