50 Cent 'suing hip-hop website'

50 Cent has announced that he is suing a major US hip-hop website after it used his image without permission.

WorldStarhiphop.com apparently featured a large photo of the rapper on its homepage, which he has since claimed could confuse fans into thinking he endorsed the site.

Gigwise quotes 50 Cent as saying: "I got a lawsuit against WorldStar for utilising my likeness.

"A lot of people felt like that was my site because they saw my face on the cover for a long time."

He added: "I have lawyers on retainers and I have to pay them so much money anyway, so we'll go back and forth to court until [the site] can't afford a Subway sandwich. It's already too late."
