Kate Walsh 'blasts online impersonator'

Kate Walsh has spoken out to warn fans not to befriend a hacker posing as her on Facebook.

The Private Practice actress was reportedly left shocked when she discovered that an online impersonator had planned a dinner date with her next door neighbour, Contactmusic reports.

She explained: "There are people out there apparently pretending to be me... [My neighbour] was like, 'You said you were going to come over and have wine and hang out - on your Facebook. My wife is a huge fan and we've been Facebooking you'."

Walsh added: "He showed me his computer and somebody is pretending to be me on Facebook."
