Ashton Kutcher 'defends Demi Moore'

Ashton Kutcher has reportedly defended Demi Moore.

According to Perez Hilton, the Spread star and his wife were attending an after-party for his Broadway show 24 Hour Plays, when a guest began to mock the couple's relationship.

A source said: "Demi and Jennifer Aniston were happily sitting together in the VIP area when this guy started really obviously making fun of Demi and things like her relationship with a younger man.

"It went on for quite a while. Ashton heard it and approached him. At first, he thought the guy wasn't serious and was like, 'What the...?' He then realised he was serious. Ashton lost it."

The 31-year-old, who married Moore in 2005, reportedly became enraged while the actress appeared embarrassed.

The source added: "It got pretty heated, nobody knew what to do."

Kutcher's new film Spread is due in UK cinemas in January.
