Pixie Lott: 'I don't adopt US accent'

Pixie Lott has revealed that she does not try to fit in with the locals when she is in the States.

The 18-year-old said that she will not be heard talking with a transatlantic twang.

She told The People: "I have decided I can't get the hang of the way they speak, so instead I go to cafes and in a very posh English accent ask for a cup of tea and a scone."

Meanwhile, the singer recently revealed that she would like to give one of her songs to X Factor twins John & Edward.
