McKellen, Spacey get Variety Club honours

The 70-year-old Lord of the Rings star took home the prize for 'Outstanding Contribution To Show Business', reports WENN.
Spacey, artistic director of London's Old Vic, received a trophy for his 'Outstanding Contribution To British Theatre'.
Awards also went to Michael Sheen for 'Film Actor Of The Year', Spandau Ballet for their contribution to music and to Simon Cowell for 'Best TV Talent Judge'.
The Variety Club charity, founded in 1949, helps young, disabled and disadvantaged children.
