Sigourney Weaver has been named in a £3.1 million court case involving a cosmetics company that she co-owns.

Make-up company Vincent Longo is being sued by Anthony Minuto over a soured business deal and Weaver is a minority shareholder in Longo's business.

Minuto told TMZ: "Weaver is named a party defendant herein for no reason other than... she is a minority shareholder of the corporation and this action seeks declaratory relief against the corporation."

Minuto is seeking nearly £3.1 million in damages and is demanding 25% of the company.
