Lefevre 'couldn't manage New Moon premiere'

The actress starred as vampire Victoria in the original movie and its sequel, but was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for third instalment Eclipse.
Writing on her Twitter page, she said: "To fans at the premiere: With [my dog] Honey in the hospital and being fired from Eclipse, tonight was just too emotional for me.
"I couldn't manage it. So sorry."
Lefevre previously admitted that she was "stunned" by the recasting. Studio Summit Entertainment insisted that the decision was made because of her scheduling conflicts.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens on Friday.
