Madonna sets up Brazilian kids charity

Madonna has apparently started setting up a new Brazilian children's charity.

The 'Vogue' singer, whose boyfriend Jesus Luz is Brazilian, has apparently secured a $7 million donation from the country's richest man Eike Batista to help set up the cause.

Madonna was believed to be visiting Rio de Janeiro to meet Luz's parents but, according to the Daily Mail, she insisted: "I am going there strictly for fundraising and humanitarian purposes."

During a recent dinner with Batista the star was believed to say "I worship Brazil", and cried when he offered his donation.
