Dita Von Teese takes French lessons

Dita Von Teese has revealed that she is learning to speak French.

The burlesque star, who is dating French aristocrat Count Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, has apparently taken up lessons in the language so that she can speak to him in his native tongue.

Von Teese wrote on her Twitter page: "Why oh why didn't I pay more attention in high school French?? Yes, now it really DOES seem like 20 years ago."

The 37-year-old has previously revealed that she loves French decor in her house, particularly her "Napoleonic era sconces" and "ornate candelabras".
