Pattinson: 'There are no UK acting jobs'

Robert Pattinson has claimed that English actors are moving to America because of the lack of jobs in the UK.

The New Moon lead admitted that he was forced to endure years of rejection before his meteoric rise to fame as the star of the vampire franchise last year.

Contactmusic quotes him as saying: "It's so funny there are so many more English people in LA than the last time I [had] been there.

"It's unbelievable... I can understand why they come from England, because there are no jobs in England. There's no film industry, so that's why they go."
