Spanish actress Penelope Cruz was left frightened and upset when two men tried to mug her.
The Vanilla Sky star was sitting in a Mercedes in Paris when two men tried to smash through a window. Thankfully her driver sped away before they could get in.
A source told The Sun: "Penelope cried all the way back to the hotel. She was very frightened. One of the men had a large rock and was ramming it on the glass. How it didn't smash was a miracle."
The event has prompted her to hire her first bodyguard.
Cruz can be seen this year in Breck Eisner's Sahara.
