The High School Musical star, who shot to fame with singing roles, said that he is looking for a part that will help him "break" into the theatre world.
Bang Showbiz quotes him as saying: "I would love to if I could find the right opportunity. I think it's a matter of time to be honest but I don't know, I just want to make a break, so it's harder to be very specific."
Efron added that he gave co-star Christian McKay advice on the set of new film Me and Orson Welles, saying: "He had like small questions here and there. But he is a quick student that guy, in a matter of weeks he had completely transformed."
