Miley Cyrus tour bus accident 'kills one'

One person has been killed after a tour bus belonging to US star Miley Cyrus overturned, reports say.

The vehicle crashed and flipped at around 8.15am local time in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, according to The AP. It is thought that Cyrus was not on board at the time of the accident.

It has been reported that the driver of the bus was the sole fatality in the incident. One of the other nine passengers is said to have suffered minor injuries.

Cyrus's vehicle was reportedly en route to Greensboro, North Carolina ahead of a concert that the singer is scheduled to perform there on Sunday.

Police have not confirmed the identities of those on board, while the cause of the crash is said to be under investigation.
