James Caan files for divorce again

James Caan has filed for divorce from his wife for the second time.

The Godfather star cited irreconcilable differences when he filed the papers at Los Angeles' County Superior Court, Contactmusic reports.

Caan, who has been married to Linda Stokes for 14 years, is applying for joint custody of their children, 14-year-old James and Jacob, 11.

In a statement, he said: "We have two beautiful kids together and will remain friends. Everything will be fine."

Caan filed for divorce from Stokes in 2005, but called off proceedings a month later.
