Jury selection for Michael Jackson's child molestation trial begins on Monday for a trial case that is expected to last up to six months. The star is accused of plying a teenage boy with alcohol and molesting him.
The star's parents have now made their opinions known about the situation. Joe Jackson told ITV: "This is just the United States. All the rest of the countries, all over the world, are proud of Michael.
"It's here we have the most trouble out of them. It is racism."
Michael's mother, dimissing the claims as "ridiculous", added: "I know my son. My son would never hurt a child. He loved children too much."
