Ringo Starr to become a superhero

Ringo Starr is collaborating with Stan Lee to produce a 'reluctant superhero'.
The animated project, headed by both the former Beatle and Spiderman creator, will be released next year on DVD and there will probably be a TV series to follow.
Starr, who will provide his voice for the superhero, said: "I'll zoom in to save the world, or a damsel in distress, or a small village," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Stan Lee explained: "Ringo is beloved worldwide for his commitment to people and his singular wit. Our Ringo superhero character will combine these qualities, along with Ringo's secret powers".
Apparently Lee met Paul McCartney years ago and thought it would be "great" to make all four Beatles superheroes, but nothing came of the idea. He descibes the planned Ringo character as an "evil-battling, earth-saving" hero with "a great sense of rhythm".
