Nicole Richie checks out of hospital

Nicole Richie has reportedly checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre after battling pneumonia.

Richie's boyfriend Joel Madden has confirmed on his band's website on Friday that the 28-year-old reality star was back home resting.

Madden wrote: "So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week. But don't worry, all is well and we are home with no problems."

The couple have two children together, daughter Harlow, 1, and 2-month-old sonSparrow.
