Reid: 'I'm not cashing in on Price'

Alex Reid has claimed that dating Katie Reid has not always proved helpful for his career.

The cage fighter is reportedly set to propose to his glamour model girlfriend, but he said that doing so will not necessarily work in his favour professionally.

He told the News of the World: "I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth and some of my relationship with Katie has seen me benefit.

"But a lot of it has caused me grief from a business point of view.

"My sponsorship endorsements with certain companies have stopped because they see me as a negative influence on the sport.

"But ultimately this is not about business - this is about someone I love."
