Lee Mead has claimed that his wife Denise Van Outen is not as wild as people think.
He explained that the 35-year-old actress and presenter is never happier than when she is at home.
The musical star told the Sunday Mirror: "It goes back to what people said when we got together. They thought Denise would be with someone more wild.
"The perception is that she's really wild herself. But actually she's a real home bod. She has a heart of gold. That's why I married her.
"I'm not the wild nights chap either. I like a drink and going out with friends but I'm not your Ronnie Wood kind of rock star."
Mead also said that the couple's farmhouse in Kent should be the perfect spot for their first child, due in May.
He added: "It's a little pad with sheep in the garden and is a wonderful place to bring up a family."
