Kidman, Hudson attend CNN Heroes gala

Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Neil Patrick Harris were among the stars who attended the CNN Heroes tribute ceremony in Los Angeles.

The event honoured ten ordinary people from around the world who are making a difference in their communities, Contactmusic reports.

The gala took place on Saturday at the Kodak Theatre. Honourees accepted their goodwill awards from a host of stars that included Kidman, Hudson, Harris, Greg Kinnear, Pierce Brosnan, George Lopez, Eva Mendes and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Country star Carrie Underwood, R&B singer Maxwell and Leona Lewis all performed at the event.

CNN Heroes is to air in the US on November 26.
