Travolta thanks neighbours for support

John Travolta has thanked his neighbours for their support since the death of his son Jett.

Speaking at an event in his hometown of Ocala, Florida, Travolta explained that the community had helped his family to cope.

"It's meant the world to us," he said. "We know that we have a community. We know that we have friends. And we know that we are loved.

"We appreciate it. Jett appreciates it. We love you, Ocala."

Travolta recently said in an interview that his family is "working hard to heal".
