John Travolta honoured by hometown

John Travolta has reportedly been honoured by his adopted Florida hometown.

According to Contactmusic, the community in Ocala named a street after the Hollywood actor's daughter Ella Bleu.

Mayor Randy Ewers thanked the famous family for their fundraising efforts and presented 9-year-old Ella with her own street sign.

Travolta said: "Kelly, Ella and I want to thank all of you for supporting us over the last year. It's meant the world to us. We know that we have a community. We know that we have friends. And we know that we are loved. We appreciate it. Jett appreciates it. We love you, Ocala."

The 55-year-old's son Jett passed away from a fatal seizure while on a family holiday in the Bahamas in January.
