Bill Nighy: 'I hate hats and caps'

Bill Nighy has revealed that he hates the idea of wearing a hat as a disguise.

The Love Actually star, who turns 60 next month, said that he would rather kill himself than wear a baseball cap.

Nighy told The Guardian: "I'm not wearing a beanie. I'm too old for a beanie. I don't know what the cut-off age is for a beanie but it's a long time ago as far as I'm concerned."

He continued: "Or a baseball cap? No, I'd have to kill myself. There's no need. Because everything is fine and the degree of notoriety I have is fine and easy."

Talking about the ageing process, Nighy added: "You get older and you see yourself and say, 'God, he's old, who's that?'"
