Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson is forcing her ex-boyfriend, Jamie Meakin, out of the home that they shared while they were dating.

Following their split in November last year, Nikki put the £200,000 house up for sale, allowing Jamie to stay until a buyer was found.

However, relations turned sour last week when Meakin confronted Sanderson over her new relationship with her Coronation Street co-star, Danny Young.

He told the Sunday Mirror, "Nikki cleared the last of her stuff out of the house without telling me. Now I've been left looking for somewhere to live because she says it isn't fair me being in the house while she's still contributing towards the mortgage. Now the house will be empty until it's sold."

A friend added, "It's very sad it's ended in this way. Jamie is still heartbroken."
