Nicole Richie recovering at home

Nicole Richie is reportedly resting at home after a hospital stay battling pneumonia.

Richie was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre last week. The star said that she plans to stay in bed to recover.

She posted a message to her fans on Twitter today, thanking them for their support, reports People.

"Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving," she said.

The 28-year-old also apologised for missing promotional appearances during her hospital stay.
