Alex Reid mum: 'Price seemed very cruel'

Alex Reid's mother Carol has criticised Katie Price for the way she spoke about her son after breaking up with him.

Carol told The Sun: "I watched the TV and it seemed very cruel the way she spoke about Alex. He really loved her and gave up a lot for her, and this is how he gets treated by her.

"I can't get through to him at the moment. All I know is that he is in Australia and his phone is off. He must be upset. I'm worried for him."

Insiders have claimed that Reid and Price will meet in Australia once crew have arrived to film the scenes for ITV2's What Katie Did Next.

A source said: "The crew have been told to get out there as quickly as possible as there is going to be fireworks. Jordan's not stupid and wants massive ratings for her show."

Yesterday, Reid's spokesman described the cage fighter's split from Price as a "surprise revelation".
