'ER' star Shane West injures face

Former ER star Shane West was left cut and bruised after he tripped and fell on his face last week.

The 31-year-old was partying and drinking with friends in his own backyard when he injured himself, reports Radar Online.

West attended a Katy Perry concert at Los Angeles club Boulevard3 before making his way back home.

The actor reportedly tried to keep a low profile after the incident prior to flying out of the country to tour with his band The Germs.

He is best known for playing Dr Ray Barnett on NBC's ER.
