Mariah Carey: 'I won't always be a diva'

Mariah Carey has claimed that she will get rid of her entourage someday.

The pop superstar, who is known for her diva lifestyle and outlandish demands, said that she will not always require assistants to help her.

Contactmusic quotes the singer as saying: "A very famous diva once told me, 'Mariah, one day you're not going to want to have all these people around you'.

"She was taking her own bags off of the airport carousel and I really noticed that she was in control of her own life and doing things. You don't need to have all these people around you and it's true."

Carey refused to divulge who the "diva" was, simply saying: "Who is she? I don't want to say her name because maybe she wouldn't be happy, but she's someone I've admired my whole life."
