Rapper Fabolous 'stopped for speeding'

The rapper was on his way to a performance at New York nightclub Promenade when he was stopped by police, Contactmusic reports.
He then wrote about the incident on his Twitter page, saying: "On my way 2 Promenade... Got pulled over but we on the move now...
"Cops pull us over & say 'do u know u were speedin?' I said 'Yeah, we're in a rush!' Lol... He didn't find that funny. (sic)"
Fabolous also joked about speculation that he is involved with men who stole a Lamborghini, saying: "Good thing I decided 2 leave the stolen lambo wit the 500 pounds of weed in it at home! Lol #f**krumors."
It is unknown whether the star was punished for speeding.
