Dave Grohl: 'Twitter is a waste of time'

Dave Grohl has reportedly slammed the social networking site Twitter.

The Foo Fighters frontman has accused the micro-blogging website of being a "waste of time" and insisted that he would never sign up for a Twitter account, Contactmusic reports.

The 40-year-old rocker said: "F**k Twitter! That's the biggest waste of time. If people got their head out of their ass, they might f**king get out and accomplish something."

Other celebrities that have denounced Twitter include Trent Reznor, Kanye West and Mathew McConaughey.
