Catherine McNeil has made a comeback into the modelling industry.
The 20-year-old model, who has had a long break from the catwalk, will appear on the front cover of Vogue magazine next week.
McNeil's agent Kathy Ward told The Sunday Telegraph: "It's fantastic for a model's image because when international designers and the international fashion industry see them on the cover of Australian Vogue, it gives them credibility.
"She's going back to New York in January and she will be doing New York Fashion Week and then she'll go onto Milan and Paris."
McNeil recently hit headlines after being photographed with deep cuts across her forearms. She initially claimed to have injured herself while skateboarding, but her mother later said that McNeil had fallen down the stairs and admitted that sometimes life "gets her down".
