Morrissey 'designs shoes with McCartney'

Stella McCartney has revealed that she is collaborating with Morrissey on some leather-free footwear.

The announcement follows reports that McCartney would work with fellow vegetarian Leona Lewis on a new fashion line.

McCartney told the Daily Mail: "I'm working with Morrissey on a line of leather-free shoes which I'm really excited about.

"We are still in the early stages but the shoes could be launched next year."

Earlier this year, McCartney said that she was inspired by her late mother Linda's vegetarianism and anti-fur stance.
