The former Neighbours star, who severed her finger in a motorcycle accident, was spotted shooting scenes for TV show Cybershack.
The hand injury occurred during filming for the Channel Nine youth programme last Tuesday.
McNaught's representative said that she was lucky she didn't lose her finger when it got caught in the wheel of the motorcycle.
The model and presenter will spend six weeks in a cast to her elbow and should regain 80% of the use of her finger.
