The singer and husband Roey Hershkovitz welcomed daughter Lyla Rose on November 29 at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old met partner Hershkovitz, 31, a music production supervisor for The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, in 2006 at a business meeting. They married last January.
Loeb keeps busy working with her own non-profit organisation the Camp Lisa Foundation, which helps underprivileged children.
Her Lisa Loeb Eyewear Collection is due out in spring 2010.
