The model and former Neighbours star, who had emergency surgery to save her severed digit, said that she has been ordered by doctors to undergo intensive physiotherapy every hour for the next three months in order to regain 80% of the use of her finger.
McNaught, who was filming TV show Cybershack when she got her hand caught in the wheel of the bike, told News.com.au: "Basically we were reviewing this electric dirt bike, which is the same as a normal dirt bike but electric."
She continued: "My [hand] went into the disc brake and it took a big chunk out - I almost lost my finger. I actually yelled out 'I'm so sorry' straight away because I'd just dropped this brand new dirt bike. Then I turned and looked down and my finger was hanging the wrong way."
McNaught is apparently hoping to get a presenting job with MTV after making a guest appearance at their Summer Party yesterday.
