Dr Geoffrey Edelsten married Brynne Gordon at the weekend in a lavish $3 million (£1.7 million) wedding.
The 26-year-old bride, who agreed to marry 66-year-old Edelsten after a whirlwind romance in the US, apparently wore $500,000 (£280,000) worth of diamonds.
Gordon's brothers Nick and Ryan told The Daily Telegraph: "It's hard to imagine just how big and amazing it is. I think it's probably every girl's dream to meet the man of her dreams and marry in like, a fairytale."
The Nanny star Fran Drescher added: "Rarely do people have such big weddings these days but it will be a blast. It's going to be wonderful. It is a good and happy occasion."
She added: "There is so much in the world that is not happy so when you find two people in love, there is no downside to that."
