Pitt, Jolie 'double date with Clooney'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly enjoyed a double date with George Clooney and his girlfriend earlier this week.

According to Extra, the Mr And Mrs Smith co-stars were seen dining with Clooney and his partner Elisabetta Canalis in Beverly Hills on Monday evening.

"[They] looked really happy... surprisingly happy," said one witness, who added that they left with "four or five bodyguards" after about an hour.

Pitt and Jolie recently appeared to quash rumours of trouble in their relationship by attending the Museum of Contemporary Art's new 30th anniversary exhibition.

Clooney began romancing Italian TV presenter Canalis this summer.
