Eminem 'relates to Jackson drugs pain'

Eminem has found common ground between the death of Michael Jackson and his struggle as a drug addict.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the rapper expressed deep sorrow that no-one confronted Jackson and got him help for his alleged addiction to painkillers.

"I definitely can relate, and it's a shame if he didn't have anybody there to just say, 'Michael, you're an addict, you need help'," he said.

Eminem once poked fun at the late star in the video for his 2004 single 'Just Lose it'.

His own dependence on prescription medication is documented throughout his new album Relapse. Recently, he blamed the weight gain during his hiatus on his addiction to Vicodin.
